The Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine and The Southern Sleep Society invite you to join the Southern Sleep Society at its 35th Annual Meeting in Dallas, TX on March 7-10, 2013. The conference convenes at The Hyatt Regency Dallas Hotel-a luxury venue conveniently located in downtown Dallas, TX adjacent to the historic district and minutes from the train (connected via underground concourse). Dallas offers the perfect location for the 2013 meeting, with easy access whether flying or driving.
The conference opens on Thursday, March 7, 2013 with the Annual Technologist Course, titled "Meeting the challenges of change in sleep technology." The course offers 7.5 educational credits for Sleep Technologists, Respiratory Therapists, Nurses and other allied health professionals.
The Southern Sleep Society meeting, "Advances in Sleep: From Research to Practical Solutions," opens on Friday, March 8, 2013. Symposia on new PAP strategies, circadian rhythm disorders and advances in treating narcolepsy and cataplexy are offered. The Southern Sleep Society's 35th Annual Meeting is accredited through The Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine.
NEW THIS YEAR:
- Continuing education credits for Nurses will be offered this year through The California Board of Registered Nurses, Sleep for Nurses.
- The meeting offers a total of 22 educational credits for technologists that attend all four meeting days. Participants attending only the Southern Sleep Society meeting will earn up to 14.5 CME credits.
- Exhibitor representatives who are sleep technologists or respiratory therapists can earn continuing education credits by attending educational tracks at no additional cost.
- Exhibits will open on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. with a opening reception to provide exhibitors the opportunity to meet with Course participants at the end of the Technologist course.
