Golf Tournament and Awards Dinner

The Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.

Green Fee is $80 and includes range balls, lunch and prizes for winning teams. This year's tournament will offers a unique challenge to our golfers. The golf course features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open, void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.

Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Also on the front, the number 7 hole is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green. Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

The Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 8:00 p.m. The banquet includes a program honoring Founder's Award participants as well as officers, members and supporters of the Southern Sleep Society. The cost to attend the Awards Banquet is $55.00 and includes food and beverages. Location will be in a Dallas Reunion Tower Area restaurant.

Join us for an elegant celebratory evening during the annual Awards Banquet. The Southern Sleep Society's Annual Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 7:00 P.M. at Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse, located on the west end at 702 Ross Avenue in downtown Dallas. The restaurant is a 5-minute cab ride from the Hyatt Regency or a 15-minute walk. Cost is $55 and includes appetizer, dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased separately.

Not only is the décor of the restaurant pure Texas, the menu is as well. Naturally, the finest prime-aged beef serves as the culinary foundation along with the extensive wild game offerings.
