Early registration ends on January 31, 2012. Registering early assures a spot for your company to particpate in one of the most unique sleep conferences in the country. The meeting is preceded by the annual Technologist Course which includes a BRPT-sponsored RPSGT Board Review Course. The meeting offers a total of 21.5 educational credits for technologists that attend all four meeting days. Physicians attending the Southern Sleep Society meting earn up to 14.5 CME credits. Exhibitor representatives who are registered sleep technologists or respiratory therapists also have the opportunity to earn educational credits if the sit in during the educational tracks. Shipping: Due to limited storage space at Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort's on-property warehouse, Sandestin® has partnered with Veal Convention Services, Inc. (VCS), to offer you the widest range of possibilities during the conference. With nearly 1,000 successful exhibit/trade shows completed since the partnership was established nearly 10 years ago, VCS has proven itself as an industry leader, and has earned the right to be referred to as Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort's preferred provider for convention needs. All properly labeled trade show freight shipments received at the Veal warehouse will be delivered to the trade show floor on a timeframe established by group Conference Planner. Ship packages to: Hotel Information Meeting location: The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, 9300 Emerald Coast Parkway West, Miramar Beach, FL 32550 The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort has offered the Southern Sleep Society a room rate of $146.00. All rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes and fees in effect at time of check-in (currently 11.5% for accommodations and 9% taxes and fees for all other services). Rates are available from Tuesday, March 26-Monday, April 2, 2012. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. Call (877) 765-1502 to make your reservations. Mention that you are attending the Southern Sleep Society meeting when making your reservations. Attendees must make their own reservations. The cut-off date for the Southern Sleep Society rate is Monday, February 27, 2012. After this date, the room block will automatically be released and further reservation requests will be subject to space availability. Once an individual reservation has been made, any changes should be made directly with the Group Reservations Department. Sandestin requires a one night's room deposit to be received within ten (10) days after a reservation is made, or it will be canceled. The required advance deposit for each reservation is refundable only if the reservation is canceled or arrival date is changed at least seven days prior to arrival date. The Grand Sandestin® consists of accommodations in the Grand, Lasata, Bahia, and Elation. All room rates include complimentary resort transportation; two bicycles per unit for up to four hours of usage daily; fitness center usage; one hour per day of tennis court time (based on availability); one hour per day usage on either a canoe, kayak or boogie board. All rooms are charged a daily resort fee in the amount of twelve percent of the pre-tax amount of the daily room rate. The resort fee covers items, including but not limited to, self-parking and reservation processing services. The resort fee is not a government imposed charge. State and local sales tax will be collected on the resort fee. Sponsorship Opportunities: The Southern Sleep Society is the oldest regional sleep conference in the county. The 34th annual meeting presents another program centered on nationally recognized presenters, cutting edge research and clinical presentations and attendance by an audience that includes physicians, clinical researchers, sleep technologists, respiratory therapists, psychologists, nurses and other allied health professionals. The Southern Sleep Society 34th Annual meeting offers an opportunity for exhibitors to network with their customers and develop relationships with potential customers. Commercial support for the Southern Sleep Society meeting provides special recognition on the meeting brochure as well as the Southern Sleep Society's website. Support levels are: Platinum Support - $5000 Gold Support - $3500 Silver Support - $3000 Bronze Support - $1500 Refreshment Break Support - $1000 Founders Award Support - $700 Golf Tournament Support - $250.00 Additional options: Exhibitors and supporters may also opt to purchase a website banner ad which will be placed on the Southern Sleep Society's website for one year at a cost of $200.00. Exhibitors are urged to become corporate members of the Southern Sleep Society. Membership offers support of the Society, access to membership meeting minutes and a vote in planning future meetings. Exhibitor representatives attending the meeting are invited to participate in the annual golf tournament on Saturday, March 31 at the Raven Course. Participation in the Founders Award banquet offers another opportunity to socialize and network with customers. |
